2014 will bring us more electro R&B and this Danish duo will help lead the way.
29. Avec Sans
Killer single after killer single, stop teasing us and deliver an album!
Ok, we lied, we have 31 albums on here.
Their album dropped in January and we love it.
27. Keep Shelly in Anthens
Their lead singer mysteriously left the band, but a new album is due in 2014.
26. FKA Twigs
More minimal R&B please!
25. Tove Lo
Tove’s 2013 hit “Habits” is just the beginning.
24. Lily Allen
Probably not entirely electro, but her first single “Air Balloons” gets our hands in the air.
23. Glass Candy
Johnny Jewel is a very busy man.
Her album full of electro R&B is already out, and loved, on Soundcloud.
21. Musique Le Pop
“Turn to Sand” was one of our top 10 tracks of last year. Let’s hope a new album is a top 10 of this year.
20. Say Lou Lou
We’ll just have to gaze at these sister Swedish-Australian beauties until June 23rd.
19. Wye Oak
The Baltimore duo promised a new album without the use of a single guitar. Fine by us!
They’re busy in the studio and we couldn’t be happier.
We’ve been promised more R&B goodness in 2014, unfortunately it seems it won’t be with producer Dev Hynes.
16. Future Islands
Their first single off their March album is some of the best work to date.
15. St. Vincnet
February 24th can’t come soon enough.
14. Kate Boy
We’ve heard a full albums worth of material at their live show. Let’s hope they turn it into 1’s and 0’s in 2014.
She brought futurepop to the masses in 2012 and will do it again in 2014.
12. Kanye West
Kanye promised an album this summer. We think that’s crazy fast after his electro hip hop masterpiece “Yeezus”. But bring it on.
11. AVAN LAVA
Their first single “So Fucked Up” crushes. We assume more is in store.
10. Robots with Rayguns
Lucas Patrick Smith is busy working on his electro throwback hits.
9. Tears for Fears
Prepping for an album by releasing some covers. Most notably Animal Collective’s “My Girls”.
8. Karin Park
We’re ready for her dark electro sounds in 2014.
Not exactly electropop but this Denver couple’s retro sounds will be filling our stereo come spring.
6. Charli XCX
One year from her killer debut album and she’s already got another one. It’s a win-win situation.
5. Twin Shadow
Twin Shadow confirmed a new album in 2014 after a series of covers he’s been producing.
“Voices” is out February 18th and we love what we’ve heard already.
3. Class Actress
Their 2011 album “Rapproacher” is still on repeat here. The Brooklyn duo have been in the studio and we’re hoping for an album in late 2014.
No album officially announced, but a killer new track “fountain” was just released and we can only assume more is coming.
It’s been four years since Body Talk and we’re ready for another album of electro floorfillers.
